Anyone who knows me knows I love my birthday. There are many reasons for this. One being that I dont remember a single birthday growing up, so why not make them big and flashy now!
Second is because I believe I have 2 birthdays. I was born in Japan. My mother couldn't make it to a military base in time so I was born on Japanese soil. I was born on July 22 in Japan, which means it was July 21 in America.
Korean's also believe that when you are born you are 1, and not 0. So in Korea, I am 29. All though this is still the same birthdate, you can only turn each age once. I am half Korean so I am turning each age twice...double celebration.
